INSTALLATION

Clean Windshield Mounting & Hardwiring for Parking Mode

The VIOFO A119M Pro is designed to mount discreetly on the upper windshield behind your rear-view mirror using the supplied adhesive GPS mount and static cling film. For standard ignition-switched recording, the included 3.5m 12V car charger cable connects directly to the USB-C port on the GPS mount.

To unlock 24/7 parking surveillance—including Buffered Auto Event Detection, Time-Lapse, Low Bitrate, Low-Power Impact Detection, and Hybrid Parking Recording—the camera must be connected to your vehicle's fuse box using an optional VIOFO Type-C HK4 Hardwire Kit (for timer-based cutoff) or VIOFO HK6 Hardwire Kit (required for automatic voltage-based cutoff and hybrid voltage switching) or an external dash cam battery pack.
