A229 Duo is built with a larger 2.4 inch HD display which delivers a more direct effortless live view and improved performance in heat dissipation. New LED indicators, “PWR” and “GPS”, have been added to the front panel to help you easily catch the status of the cam and the functions enabled.

A229 Duo supports dual-band Wi-Fi options of 5GHz & 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi connection makes it quite convenient to control and check on videos on your smartphone end via VIOFO App, including setup menu, live view from the front and rear, playback of recorded videos, and downloading/sharing of video files.
A229 Duo features a first-ever design utilizing 2.8mm premium super slim coaxial rear cable and miniature connectors for a neatly hidden installation. The coaxial cable is less susceptible to electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, avoiding disturbance to other in-car electronic devices as well. What's more, the cable enables higher bandwidth transmission and transfer rates, regardless of its length.

Configured with multiple language voice notification, A229 Duo helps you confirm setting changes such as audio recording on/off and reminds you of events such as video protection and memory card errors. No worries about missing important videos as A229 Duo will inform you in time if anything prevents recording.
The GPS Logger can track the route data throughout your trip and also speed, time data in the video file, allowing compatible viewers to display on playback. It will also keep the camera clock synchronized with GPS time so that the video files are correctly time stamped.
